I AM in Taree, art and storytelling workshop.

I am  looking forward to working with students from the Taree Public School on the I AM arts and storytelling project next week. This project explores visual literacy, oracy, active listening, cultural awareness,  risk-taking, self esteem building, co-operative behaviour, reflective practice, experimentation, persistence, imaginative thought,  improvisation, spontaneity and self expression!

Little Buddha

Artwork of the week: Little Buddha, 100 x 120 cm, Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. To encourage Japanese children to eat all of their rice the
grains are affectionately called little Buddhas. This painting is my homage to the food of life, in both a physical and spiritual sense. This is a new post for my new facebook fanpage for Roman W. Schatz)
